China News Service, Guangzhou, March 16th (Reporter Cheng Jingwei) - The 139th Canton Fair will open in Guangzhou on April 15th. The exhibition area will be 1.55 million square meters, with 75,500 booths. More than 30,000 enterprises have signed up to participate.

This year's Canton Fair closely follows the trends of "new, green and intelligent". It will set up 54 exhibition areas and 178 sub-areas. In addition to continuing to set up the service robot and smart medical sub-areas, it will also newly establish 8 exhibition sub-areas including smart wearables, display technology, unmanned aircraft (consumer level), agricultural unmanned aircraft, bamboo and wood tableware, bamboo and wood household items, integrated houses and courtyard facilities, and functional and technological fabrics.

It is reported that this year's Canton Fair saw the number of enterprises applying for brand booths exceed 6,000 for the first time, with approximately 2,770 enterprises selected for brand booths. Currently, about 30 global partners of the Canton Fair have confirmed to form groups to attend the fair, including the China-US Chamber of Commerce, the British-Chinese Trade Association, and the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, among others.

At the same time, this year's Canton Fair will offer numerous "new experiences" to buyers: for the first time, a "Canton Fair label" will be introduced to create an exclusive identity mark; buyer vouchers will now cover multiple consumption scenarios such as cultural and creative products, convenience stores, and hotels; for the first time, a one-stop service center will be established to provide diverse services including demand matching and exhibition exhibitor information inquiries; the "head purchasing enterprise" service area has newly added an "exclusive appointment negotiation area", making the procurement connection more efficient.

In addition, this year's Canton Fair will host 9 thematic forums, focusing on hot topics such as diverse markets and green trade; the new product launch events will cover cutting-edge fields such as service robots, green energy storage, smart home appliances, and smart healthcare.
