Many industry professionals brought their own Rokid Glasses and Tyrannosaurus AI glasses to the event for real-time testing and sharing. One of the participants even expressed the plan to introduce Rokid Glasses to offline activities in Europe and America. The real-time translation function of this product received unanimous praise from the attendees.

Apart from the entire device, the display of the supply chain side also attracted widespread attention.

Zhai Yao, the marketing director of Jiuzu Optical, brought samples of AR waveguides and VR modules to the event. Jiuzu Optical is an XR core optical enterprise that pursues "generational leadership". It focuses on near-eye display key technologies such as AR optical waveguides and VR optical modules, and is committed to breaking through the underlying optical architecture, core processes, and system-level design capabilities to create high-performance optical solutions for the next-generation terminals. Zhai Yao said that this trip aims to have in-depth exchanges and resource connections with all colleagues, and jointly promote the implementation and industrial upgrading of XR technology.

Meanwhile, Huizhou Shubo De Precision Technology Co., Ltd. also presented its core achievements in the field of lightweight structural components for AI glasses. As the core entity of the precision manufacturing segment of the Shubo De Group, Shubo De Precision has long focused on the material selection, process innovation, and large-scale production of lightweight structural components for AI glasses. By leveraging core technologies such as special injection molding of TR90, precise processing of titanium alloys, and excimer spraying, it provides comprehensive manufacturing solutions for high-precision and lightweight structural components from material selection to large-scale production for AI glasses.

From the optical base layer to precise structural components, this exhibition area enables attendees to fully perceive the technical architecture and manufacturing logic of smart glasses.

04. Three speeches, from the overall industry perspective to manufacturing details

The division of labor among the three speakers on that day was quite clear: one person provided a macro overview of the industry landscape, another delved into the minutiae of manufacturing processes, and the third focused on the optical core that determines the display experience. The combination of the three speeches precisely formed a complete industrial map.

Zhu Dianrong, the founder of XR Research Institute, started with the "Cambrian explosion" of smart glasses and systematically reviewed the classification, parameter differences, overall architecture, and supply chain logic of AR/VR and smart glasses. He focused on analyzing several propositions that the industry was concerned about: How likely is it that smart glasses will replace smartphones? Where is the differentiated value of AI wearable terminals compared to mobile phones? When will the industry's true explosion occur? Zhu Dianrong provided an objective judgment from dimensions such as technical maturity, user acceptance, and ecosystem completeness. He also analyzed the underlying reasons for the market performance of Apple Vision Pro not meeting expectations and dissected the collaborative logic behind the popularity of Ray-Ban Meta. At the end of the speech, he extracted the "four-dimensional comfort" core standard for the implementation of smart glasses products, divided the industry into four major participant patterns, and released a forward-looking forecast of the top ten development trends of AI/AR glasses in 2026.

The person who took the microphone was Du Jun, the deputy general manager of Shuibeide Precision Engineering in Huizhou City. His speech focused on a more specific issue: How to make AI glasses lighter without sacrificing strength and accuracy? He deeply compared the physical properties and applicable scenarios of mainstream materials such as TR90, PEEK, PC, TPU, titanium alloy, and magnesium alloy. He elaborated on the technical key points of low-pressure injection molding, micro-foaming injection molding, CNC, MIM, semi-solid die casting, hot bending, and various surface treatment processes. Based on the manufacturing practice of Shuibeide Precision Engineering, he also made forward-looking predictions on the evolution direction of the materials and processes for the structural components of AI glasses.

The last to take the stage was Dr. Cao Bingchen, the COO of Gu Dong Intelligent. He shifted his focus to another core battlefield - optical display. His judgment was direct and powerful: The AI industry is moving from the computing era to the perception era. AI glasses are the best carrier for building a sustainable perception system around the clock, and are expected to drive a market worth trillions of dollars. The optical waveguide, as the core foundation for reshaping the display experience of AR glasses, has become an industry consensus. However, the mass production and technical bottlenecks still restrict the full-scale explosion of the industry. Dr. Cao elaborated on the generational advantages of PVG optical waveguide compared to other technical routes, showcased the light efficiency performance and actual display effect of the self-developed PVG single green light waveguide - H2025G, and simultaneously disclosed the latest production delivery progress. "Gu Dong Intelligent not only focuses on the research and manufacturing of optical components, but is also willing to collaborate with the entire industry chain to jointly build an open and win-win XR industry ecosystem," he said.

05. Industrial Collaboration Is Moving From Consensus to Action

The entire salon lasted for over four hours, with every seat occupied throughout. During the tea break and free discussion sessions, the participants engaged in in-depth discussions on technical pain points, process optimization, supply-demand matching, business models, and cooperation opportunities, covering all dimensions of the material, structure, optics, complete machine, capital, etc.

The participants generally reported that the content of this salon was practical, focusing on the real needs of the industry. It clarified the industry landscape, provided cutting-edge viewpoints, and efficiently linked high-quality resources upstream and downstream. The actual value exceeded expectations. They also generally expected the XR Research Institute to regularly hold such events and continuously build a long-term bridge for industrial communication.

The XR Research Institute extended sincere thanks to all the attendees, enterprises, and investment institutions present. Special thanks were given to the venue support from the Shenzhen UK Innovation and Technology Center, as well as the strategic cooperation coverage by the AR Circle and CN-AIDC Smart Computing Heart. In the future, the XR Research Institute will continue to deeply explore smart glasses and the XR industry, unite industry forces, and help the domestic XR industry ecosystem continue to thrive and develop.
