On July 27, Baidu officially launched the Xiaodu AI Watch Fit, marking the arrival of another wearable device powered by the Ernie Bot (Wenxin) large model and entering the entry-level smartwatch market at a highly competitive price point.

The core selling point of the Xiaodu AI Watch Fit is its AI voice interaction capability: users can ask questions of the Ernie (Wenxin) large model via voice commands with a simple tap on the watch face, and the device supports the AI-generated creation of personalized, custom watch faces. Regarding health monitoring, the watch offers 24/7 automatic tracking of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, mood, and sleep, covering all key health metrics.

In terms of hardware, the watch features a 1.95-inch display, an 8.8mm-thick body, and a weight of 42g, while housing over 100 built-in sports modes. It supports Bluetooth connectivity and Alipay offline payments, boasts an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, and includes a 300mAh battery with a rated battery life of up to seven days. As the smartwatch market rapidly evolves toward AI-driven functionality, Baidu’s integration of large model capabilities into wearable devices is poised to accelerate the mass-market adoption of AI watches.
